摘要: 本文基于质量的定义,从受众角度看口译质量研究方法的不足。作者试图通过对口译现场可变因数的分析,说明受众期望值与实际口译效果之间存在着差距,而产生差距的这些变数会最终影响到口译质量。为此,作者就如何缩小差距,如何对口译质量进行客观评价提出了自己的看法。
This paper attempts to discuss the definition of quality as well as some research trends in quality-related issues. The author highlights the existing conflicts between the excellence of performance as expected by users and the reality by arguing based on real-life experience that parameters influencing quality (i.e. accent, terminology, cohesion and delivery rate) in genuine working situations are unavoidable and thus could ultimately affect the performance of interpreters. In this regard, the author endeavors to illustrate on how to narrow the gap.
